Walter Shuffain Expands Regional Footprint and Advisory Capabilities with Merger of Stolberg & Blanchette

10/1/2026  BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS –Walter Shuffain Advisors Inc. (Walter Shuffain), a Boston-based accounting and business advisory firm, announced today that Stolberg & Blanchette, a public accounting firm located in Worcester, Massachusetts, has joined Walter Shuffain.  

The merger brings together two firms with complementary strengths and expands Walter Shuffain’s regional presence. Stolberg & Blanchette brings experienced professionals, a consistent record of growth, and a strong client base well aligned with Walter Shuffain’s. The combination also adds business valuation expertise to Walter Shuffain’s growing advisory platform. Two incoming Partners from Stolberg & Blanchette hold the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) credential and will assist clients with business valuations and related advisory needs. Together, the firms bring complementary talent, industry knowledge, service capabilities, and shared values that create new opportunities to support clients across a broader range of financial and business needs. 

The Worcester office will remain a key part of the combined firm and will serve as an important anchor for Walter Shuffain’s continued growth and presence in Central Massachusetts. With the addition of Stolberg & Blanchette, Walter Shuffain now has approximately 125 professionals, including 25 Partners, across offices in Boston, Westwood, and Worcester. As part of the combination, Keith Blanchette, Managing Partner at Stolberg & Blanchette, will join Walter Shuffain’s Executive Leadership Team.
