Walter & Shuffain, P.C. was recently named one of Accounting Today’s 2017 Best Accounting Firms To Work For. Accounting Today partnered with Best Companies Group to identify the top 100 companies that excel in creating quality workplaces for employees.

The survey and awards program identifies, recognizes, and honors the accounting industry’s best employers who, owing to their excellence, benefit the industry’s economy, workforce, and businesses. Survey eligibility requirements include that the company has been conducting business for more than one year, has a facility in the United States, and maintains a staff of at least 15 employees working in the U.S.

The first part of the two-part survey process to determine Accounting Today’s Best Accounting Firms To Work For consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part included an employee survey that measured overall employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
