David’s experience leading complex initiatives and partnering closely with leadership teams enables him to connect vision with execution and help drive the firm’s continued growth and evolution.

As Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and a member of the firm’s Executive Leadership Team, David is responsible for shaping and executing Walter Shuffain’s strategic growth agenda. He helps guide firm-wide strategy, leads growth and merger and acquisition initiatives, and strengthens the operational and organizational foundation required to sustain long-term success. His role spans strategy, growth, operations, people initiatives, and financial planning, ensuring alignment across the firm as it scales.

David plays a central role in defining the firm’s strategic direction and translating that vision into actionable priorities and measurable outcomes. He works across the organization to advance key initiatives that enhance client service, expand capabilities, and position the firm for future growth. His leadership approach emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and disciplined execution, balancing long-term vision with practical implementation.

Before joining Walter Shuffain, David held senior leadership roles focused on strategic planning, operational execution, and value creation. Early in his career, he worked at one of the Big Four accounting firms, where he gained firsthand insight into the operational realities and growth challenges faced by professional services firms. He later spent several years at one of the leading global management consulting firms, advising private equity firms and management teams on growth strategy, post-acquisition integration, and value creation initiatives across a wide range of industries. He led cross-functional teams through complex transformations and collaborated on thought leadership initiatives, including co-authoring industry white papers on investment and infrastructure strategy. This experience shapes his ability to lead through change and support the firm’s evolving needs.

David holds a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida Southern College, graduating at the top of his class.
