With almost four decades of experience in public accounting, Debbie began her career in 1985 with Cooper & Company. Following the firm’s merger with Walter Shuffain in 2012, she continued her professional journey with the expanded team. Throughout her career, Debbie has been fortunate to work alongside exceptional mentors who have guided and encouraged her in the accounting profession.

Debbie appreciates the clarity and structure that working with numbers provides. Her daily responsibilities include reviewing individual, trust, gift tax, and partnership tax returns, as well as assisting business owners with setting up, maintaining, and optimizing QuickBooks.

In addition to helping clients achieve their tax and financial goals, Debbie serves on Walter Shuffain’s corporate social responsibilities committee. She also volunteers as treasurer for a condo association in York Beach, Maine, and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
