James began his career at Walter Shuffain after graduating from college in 2019 and has grown alongside the firm. His experience spans tax preparation for real estate clients, as well as audit work for private equity funds in the real estate sector, providing him with a well-rounded perspective on the financial and operational considerations facing clients in the industry.

In his day-to-day role, James spends the majority of his time preparing tax returns and performing audits, while collaborating closely with team members to ensure work is accurate, timely, and aligned with client goals. He is recognized for his thoughtful approach and his ability to translate complex tax concepts into actionable insights that inform business decision-making.

James earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting, graduating magna cum laude from Stonehill College.
